USA SPORT NEWS - A 0-3 start to the season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano has led to making decisions that he hinted since NFL Draft : benching rookie quarterback Josh Freeman supports Mike Glennon . Freeman has been with the Buccaneers since being drafted in 2009 and has steadily improved each season while playing for several different training regimes , but the Bucs switched to a beginner , the future of the franchise lies in Freeman doubts .
After Wilson transferred to Wisconsin , Glennon took over the starting job and immediately made an impact . Threw 31 touchdowns and over 3,000 yards in 2011 , Glennon led NC State to a 9-4 record and a win in the Champs Sports Bowl over West Virginia , the first bowl win for the Wolfpack since 2005 . Senior year was another successful campaign , once again threw 31 touchdowns while passing for 4,031 yards and leading NC State to another bowl victory .
Coming out of college , Glennon is considered as one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2013 NFL Draft . Experts are divided on when Glennon should be selected , with a difference of opinion about how to limit its shortcomings as a quarterback will be at the level of the NFL .
At 6'7 and 225 pounds , Glennon is a prototype for a classic pocket passer in the NFL . He is tall and strong in the pocket and has a release over-the -top that allows him a clear throwing lane without the danger of getting hit balls down at the line of scrimmage . Strength above average arm will give him the ability to make almost any throw required of NFL quarterback .
Scouts and draft experts have generally Glennon placed as the second or third round pick , and estimated that he could sneak into the first round if the team felt strongly enough about the prospect as a starting quarterback . Concerns about the overall game is almost universal however , and some questioned the lack of agility in the pocket and ability to avoid the rush and pressure while on the move . Accuracy is also an issue throughout his career - 58.5 percent completed during his senior year in college - and it's a big deal when he was pressured in the pocket and can not afford to throw square feet .

With the Buccaneers to a 0-3 start to the season , Schiano has now switched to quarterback "his" and the rookie will start against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday . Buccaneers crime ' is still less well known weapons and once again will be limited to whatever play under center , but Glennon will get the chance to prove that he can make a difference in which Freeman could not .
